Faithful Leadership, Lasting Impact
After 35 years of faithful service to Park Row Christian Academy, our Head of School, Paula Gibson, has shared her plans to retire at the end of this school year.
Paula has been an integral part of PRCA’s story and growth, dedicating her career to educating students, supporting families, and strengthening our school community. She began her journey at PRCA as a classroom teacher in 1991 and, over the years, served in multiple roles before becoming Head of School in 2016. Through both her years in the classroom and her leadership as Head of School, Paula has helped shape the academic foundation and spiritual mission of our campus, impacting generations of students and families.
Reflecting on her time in education and at PRCA, Paula shared:
“After nearly 40 years in education, the time has come for me to close this chapter with a full heart and deep gratitude. Serving as a teacher and principal has never been just a job to me—it has been a calling. Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of walking alongside generations of students as they discovered who they are and who they hope to become. Thank you for 35 unforgettable years. I will carry these memories with me always.”
As we celebrate Paula’s remarkable service, the PRCA Board of Directors is actively working to identify and transition a new Head of School. We are committed to a thoughtful and thorough process to ensure strong leadership for the future of Park Row Christian Academy.
We wish Paula and her family all the very best as she begins this next chapter and transitions into retirement, and we look forward to honoring her in the months ahead. Additional details regarding celebrations and leadership updates will be shared as they become available.
